About the course.

After completing the programme, the student shall have knowledge of: - Specialised knowledge of maintenance technology. - Knowledge and an overview of areas bordering on one's own field of work. - Knowledge of work processes and quality criteria in maintenance technology - Knowledge of maintenance policy and goals - Knowledge of maintenance concepts - Specialised knowledge of mathematics in the field - Specialised knowledge of automation, measurement and control technology - Specialised knowledge of methods and techniques for troubleshooting and repair After completing the programme, the student shall have the skills to: - plan, carry out and identify resources for carrying out specialised tasks. - solve complex problems in maintenance. - communicate commitments and solutions in the field in Swedish and English. - plan and carry out the work in accordance with laws, directives and regulations in the field of operations. - plan, carry out and document preventive, corrective and improvement maintenance. After completing the programme, the student shall have the competence to: - independently handle theoretical and practical maintenance technology in a way that leads to further learning and professional development in the professional role - monitor, plan and carry out maintenance based on the factors of economy, sustainability, environment, quality and safety, and complete assigned projects in the professional role of Maintenance Technician. - independently and systematically plan, carry out and document preventive, corrective and improvement maintenance.
