In the course, the student learns the fundamentals of systematic quality, environmental and sustainability work, as well as the tools and models used in these areas, adapted to the role of a maintenance technician. The course covers the fundamentals of sustainability, quality and environment, including ISO 9001 and 14001, and how these are used to ensure product and process quality. The student also learns to use the right tools for preventive work, continuous improvement and sustainability work, and gains insight into social responsibility through ISO 26000. After completing the course, the student can analyse and propose improvements to ensure quality and environmental assurance in maintenance work.
