LIA 2 is the second placement period in TUC's YH programme, where you take greater independent responsibility for tasks in your future professional role. Through theory combined with practical exercises at the workplace, you deepen your specialist knowledge and develop the skills to plan, improve and implement solutions based on the organisation's needs. After completing the course, you have the competence to work independently in the professional role with an employer.

After completing the course, students will have gained training and work experience in different types of treatment services. The courses also develop the student's thinking and ability to act, as well as their social and communicative competence for taking part in a professional community. Students will also get the opportunity to apply and test the theoretical knowledge gained during their studies. During LIA 2, which continues LIA 1, the competence to work as a treatment educator (behandlingspedagog) is deepened and consolidated.
