LIA2, 40 YH credits, gives you in-depth theoretical and practical knowledge of the industry and industry-specific tasks through workplace-based learning. You carry out common tasks at the LIA company and show good knowledge of safety regulations. The course gives you the competence to present your LIA period or LIA project in a report and orally, with a summary in English. The course is the second and final LIA course in the programme.

In the course, the knowledge from earlier courses in the programme, including LIA 1, will be put into practice and deepened through experience and hands-on work, and the student will learn new things within the scope of the professional role of maintenance technician. The course will give the student greater familiarity with the professional role and the ability to carry out more advanced and in-depth tasks. The student will use the workplace's methods, safety regulations and tools. The course is the second of two LIA courses, and LIA 2 includes acting independently in the professional role.
