Purpose: The purpose of the course is to give the student knowledge and skills regarding documents in the construction documents phase, and it is a continuation of The Building Process 1: Building Permit. The student should have knowledge of how drawings and other construction documents are used as a means of communication between different parties, and skills in interpreting and producing drawings and other documents for the construction documents phase. Goal: The goal of the course is that, after completing the course, the student should be able to interpret drawings from different consultants. Students should also have knowledge of the general material and work specifications (AMA) and understand how AMA is used in drawings and technical specifications. The approved student has knowledge of - The system design phase and the technical consultations included - How drawings are stamped as construction documents in the construction documents phase - The process from building permit documents to system design documents - The process from system design documents to building permit documents - Technical consultation during the system design phase - General material and work specifications (AMA) and technical specifications in drawings - Industry standards for correct drawing production - Functional requirements and accessibility in design - Relevant industry rules, for example BKR, GVK and MVK - Drawing reading - The different phases of the design process - The structure of the BSAB system - Fire, protection and sound classes The approved student has the skills to - Interpret professional drawings from different disciplines (A, K, M, El, VVS, fire) prepared at different stages of the building process - Read room and building specifications according to HUS-AMA - Use the search functions of the BSAB system and handle its information The approved student has the competence to - With a good understanding of how drawings are used as a means of communication and of the rules that apply, review, analyze and produce documents for the different stages of the building process
