The approved student has knowledge of - EU directives concerning the water services industry - how water supply plans and VA plans are drawn up - methods and techniques for renovating and inspecting water and sewer pipes - trenchless techniques - different maintenance methods The approved student has the skills to - carry out maintenance and renewal planning of water and wastewater pipe networks - draw up and interpret maintenance plans for water and wastewater respectively The approved student has the competence to - based on context and a given problem statement, propose interventions and measures for ongoing operation, supervision and upkeep - assess the interventions required for emergency measures and corrective maintenance
