Certified Facilitator is Astrakan's diploma programme for those who want to lead meetings and workshops professionally. Through the basic course Facilitering and the advanced course Facilitering Steg 2, you gain tools to engage groups, run workshops and handle difficult meeting situations, applicable to in-person, digital and hybrid meetings. The programme is structured according to international standards and is a good foundation for anyone who later wants to be certified by the IAF (International Association of Facilitators).

Training in facilitation that gives you tools to lead effective and engaging meetings. The tools are easy to apply to in-person, digital and hybrid meetings. There is a particular focus on working meetings that move the business forward. Tackle change, problems and business development with joint effort through different workshop formats.

Our advanced training in facilitation is based on international standards and provides a solid foundation for anyone who wants to go further and become certified by the IAF (International Association of Facilitators).

You can choose and use methods such as the café method, POOL analysis and other workshop tools.
You can handle group dynamics and difficult meeting situations while maintaining neutrality.
You have practised the six core competencies that the IAF requires of internationally certified facilitators.
You can lead more complex workshops focused on consensus and change work.
You become a certified facilitator after passing the programme's examination.
Curriculum
How the course is built.
Facilitering: Basic training (2 days)
The basics of meeting types and formats, the SMARR model, the facilitator's role and neutrality, and engaging methods for in-person, digital and hybrid meetings.
In-depth study based on the IAF's six core competencies, group dynamics (Wheelan's IMGD model), conflict management, graphic facilitation and consensus building in more complex workshops.
Examination and diploma
A knowledge test before the advanced course, and running and presenting your own workshop to become a certified facilitator.
