On completing the programme, the student shall have knowledge of - BIM nomenclature: NR, ISO 19650, BIM alliance and object models. - Electrical design and modelling in MagiCAD and Revit, including object models, database management and the structure of the tools. - Data, model and BIM coordination according to ITO, plus clash detection. - Review and change processes according to BEAST in Bluebeam/sessions. - Exchange format files ifc, bcf, dwg, rvt and others On completing the programme, the student shall have the skills to - Model, take off quantities and create drawings using Revit. - Carry out clash detection using Navisworks. - Coordinate models and data in Navisworks. - Review in Bluebeam using BEAST requirements. On completing the programme, the student shall have the competence to - Independently model electrical objects in the design process using Revit. - Use Navisworks to review the different disciplines of a construction project together, evaluate the outcome and propose solutions to various problems.
