Goals of the training After completing the training, the student shall have knowledge of/in 1. Building design and modelling in digital tools, incl. object models, database management and the structure of the tools 2. Industry-standard drawing production 3. Data, model and BIM coordination 4. Review and change processes 5. Model-based budgeting, follow-up and tender calculation 6. Legal concepts relating to building design such as AB, ABK and ABT 7. Schedules and project planning 8. BIM and VDC in property management 9. National and international application of BIM and VDC (Virtual design and construction) After completing the training, the student shall have skills in 10. Handling the drawing as a working tool 11. Handling information management systems 12. Carrying out clash detection, quantity take-off, calculation and analysis in digital tools 13. Coordinating and reviewing projects using models, schedules and project planning 14. Understanding of the concepts BIM and VDC 15. Understanding of legal concepts such as AB, ABT and ABK After completing the training, the student shall have the competence to 16. Independently model in digital tools in a construction and management project using the drawing as a working tool, and work according to the required information deliveries specific to the industry 17. Using digital tools, independently carry out a joint review of the construction project's different disciplines, evaluate the outcome and propose solutions to problems 18. Independently coordinate a construction and management project, carry out analyses, tests and calculations on models, and evaluate the outcome to see improvement potential and propose development measures 19. Independently budget, carry out budget follow-up and tender calculation in procurement 20. Independently evaluate and analyse BIM and VDC in management and in the wider world to identify areas of use and development opportunities for these ways of working in Sweden in the future
