The Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) is a framework for companies to set science-based climate targets in line with what is required for us to meet the goals of the Paris Agreement. This course gives you both knowledge of the theoretical background to science-based climate targets and how to go about setting targets for your company, step by step. Among other things we go through which criteria must be met and how to apply to have them approved by SBTi. During the course we go through what applies both to the existing criteria (Net-zero standard v1) and to the upcoming ones (Net-zero standard v2.0).
