Purpose: To build a basic understanding of supervision and encourage a reflective and academic approach to learning in VIL/VFU (work-integrated learning and clinical placement) in healthcare. Learning outcomes: - describe the conditions for the student's learning in VIL/VFU in one's own workplace - reflect on what supervision involves and how governing documents support the student's learning in VIL/VFU Working methods: 1. An introductory training session with presentations and group discussions 2. Independent work on a written examination assignment 3. A closing training session that includes an oral presentation of the written examination assignment
