Purpose The course aims to develop pedagogical competence and to encourage a reflective and academic approach to student learning in VIL/VFU in health care. Learning objectives After the course, participants should be able to: - Describe the conditions for student learning in VIL/VFU in their own workplace - Reflect on what supervision means and how governing documents support student learning in VIL/VFU Working methods Two course sessions with lectures, group discussions and an examination seminar. In between, work on an independent, workplace-linked assignment that is examined at the second course session. The course is given within the framework of the collaboration between Karolinska Institutet, Marie Cederschiöld högskola, Röda Korsets Högskola, Sophiahemmet Högskola and Region Stockholm.
