Tuff Leadership Training - Step 1, High performing teams for Scrive is an intensive training in which participants develop the abilities and the mindset that are essential for practising a modern, involving (adult-to-adult) leadership. It is about how and who you are in your leadership, how you are perceived, what you radiate and what outlook you have: everything that is absolutely decisive for how things go. The training is close to everyday life, practical and tough, with lots of realistic role plays and subsequent feedback. This document certifies that the participant has completed Tuff Leadership Training - Step 1, the first step in our comprehensive leadership programme. From the content: - What is a modern, involving leadership and how does it differ from the traditional kind? - Basic starting points and approaches needed to unlock people's capacity, engagement, ownership and responsibility - Individual challenges, pitfalls and strengths as a leader - Extensive practical training in difficult leadership situations - Training in abilities for a modern, involving leadership, including the ability to: - listen effectively, to listen beyond what is said - coach, to place responsibility with the individual and to ask questions that move things forward - hold feedback conversations that are effective and give lasting results - improve and develop difficult relationships - motivate and strengthen employees, especially when times are hard or there is a lot of worry in the organisation - give someone bad news without sounding too harsh and "bossy" while still being clear and direct - hear and clarify people's unhelpful attitudes that stand in the way of what they want to achieve
