Industrial service technician.

The holder of this document has: Knowledge Basic mechanical understanding and knowledge of mechanical systems, including motion, force, pressure and friction. Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics. Experience of industrial and automated plants. The ability to read and interpret drawings and wiring diagrams. Basic knowledge of electricity, automation, and control and regulation systems. Knowledge of rules, standards and safety regulations in industrial installation, operation and maintenance. A good understanding of the work environment, safety routines and the use of personal protective equipment. Familiarity with different occupational areas in industry and the working methods and tasks within them. Skills Good troubleshooting ability, with experience of identifying and fixing problems in industrial plants using different troubleshooting methods and tools. The ability to carry out service, maintenance and repair of industrial plants. Good communication skills and experience of communicating professionally with customers and colleagues, both orally and in writing. Experience of documenting and reporting work carried out. The ability to read and understand drawings and diagrams in order to analyse and take the right action. Good teamwork skills and experience of working in teams with other technicians and professional groups. The ability to communicate in English within the occupational field with customers and colleagues. Competences Independently take responsibility for troubleshooting and problem solving in mechatronic plants. Work independently as a service technician in different types of assignments and environments. Plan, organise and carry out tasks in an efficient and responsible way. Read, interpret and work from technical drawings and diagrams. Use working methods that minimise risks to people, plants and the environment.
