Medical Healthcare Administrator.

The holder of this document has: - knowledge of administration and patient interaction in healthcare, - knowledge of anatomy, physiology and pathology, - knowledge of classification and coding of diagnoses and procedures in accordance with Socialstyrelsen's classification instructions for outpatient and inpatient care, - knowledge of medical terminology in the various medical specialties in accepted language, as well as current writing rules and guidelines for adapting terms to Swedish, - knowledge of healthcare-related law, - knowledge of IT and e-health relevant to the professional role, - knowledge of the organisation, operational development and financing of healthcare, and - specialised knowledge of medical documentation. Skills in: - carrying out high-quality medical documentation in correct language, - using the technology that medical healthcare administrators use in their profession, and supporting other staff in IT-related matters, - working in accordance with applicable statutes, - contributing to operational development, quality development and efficiency improvements in healthcare, - carrying out the administration that occurs in the professional role, and - collaborating with colleagues and other professional roles in teams and, together with them or individually, identifying and solving complex problems. Competences to: - independently and with good results carry out medical documentation and the tasks that are the responsibility of a medical healthcare administrator, and - identify needs for, and act for, operational development and problem solving in healthcare, both within their own area of work and from a broader organisational perspective.
