IT Security Specialist.

After completing the programme, the student shall have knowledge of: - Specialised theoretical and practical knowledge of IT security systems, penetration testing and security verification. - Specialised theoretical knowledge of IT law. - Theoretical and practical knowledge of cloud security, as well as virtual system security and the associated deployment. - Knowledge and an overview of adjacent professional and competence areas, such as EU regulations, project management and ways of working. - Knowledge of work processes and quality criteria, as well as theoretical and practical knowledge of handling data breaches and carrying out IT security work in the professional role of IT security specialist After completing the programme, the student shall have the skills to: - Plan, identify, analyse and manage IT security risks and resources for specialised tasks with IT security systems in the professional role of IT security specialist. - Plan, carry out and identify resources for specialised tasks in the implementation, management and troubleshooting of connection protocols in different networks in the professional role of IT security specialist. - Plan, identify and carry out complex tasks, such as troubleshooting networks, configuring virtual systems and implementing security policies, in the professional role of IT security specialist. - Solve complex problems, carry out incident management plans, policies and routines and act independently and professionally in the professional role of IT security specialist. After completing the programme, the student shall have the competence to: - Independently address and solve theoretical and practical issues concerning IT security systems in a way that leads to further learning and professional development in the professional role of IT security specialist - Monitor IT network security work and IT security systems, and carry out assigned projects in the professional role of IT security specialist. - Communicate commitments and solutions for IT security, threats and solutions, in Swedish and English, in the professional role of IT security specialist.
