Advanced IT Security deepens your knowledge of handling threats to IT environments, not just knowing about them. You learn to operate and administer virtual systems and cloud services, assess security in a Windows environment and implement appropriate security measures. The course gives you the competence to work in agile projects and to independently carry out technical security tests, analyses and audits. The course is part of TUC's YH program for IT security specialists.

The course covers IT security in such a way that the student not only knows about but can also handle the threats that IT environments are exposed to. The course covers the management of IT environments with regard to security, and operating and administering virtual systems and cloud services. In the future professional role of IT security specialist, the student should
be able to assess security in a Windows environment and, when needed, make appropriate changes to secure the environment according to current standards.
The course also covers how to handle complex phenomena, issues and situations in
the professional role of IT security specialist, and how to propose and implement appropriate measures to solve complex IT security problems.
