Purpose The course aims to build a basic understanding of supervision and to encourage a reflective and academic approach to learning in VIL/VFU within health and medical care. Learning objectives After completing the course, participants should be able to: - describe the conditions for student learning in VIL/VFU in their own workplace - reflect on what supervision involves and how governing documents support student learning in VIL/VFU Content and working methods The course consists of an introductory session with presentations and group discussions, followed by work on a written assignment (poster) in a group or individually and an independent reflection assignment. The course ends with a session that includes an oral presentation of the written assignment.
