Certified CNC Technician.

After completing the programme, the student shall have knowledge of/in - Specialised knowledge of programmable control systems for machining, and - process planning and work instructions from a financial perspective - Knowledge of CAD/CAM as a work tool for production planning - Knowledge of projects as a work process and what is required to run/take part in a project - Knowledge and overview of materials and their machinability, as well as tool selection and clamping methods. After completing the programme, the student shall have skills in - Planning, carrying out and identifying resources to manufacture parts with the customer's requirements in focus. - Analysing programs for computer-controlled production. - Communicating commitments and solutions regarding production engineering problems. - Solving complex problems in production engineering with different tools in order to improve and develop production processes systematically and on the basis of facts, and to use resources with quality in mind. After completing the programme, the student shall have competences to - Independently and together with others, have the competence to plan, manufacture and inspect products according to the customer's requirements and specifications. - Create programs for CNC-controlled machines with different programming methods. - Oversee and follow projects in CNC technical work so that set goals can be reached with regard to the work environment and ergonomics.
