Autonomous Robots and ROS is an advanced Smarter course from Örebro University centred on the Robot Operating System (ROS), the middleware widely used in robotics research. You learn how ROS works and how it is applied across artificial intelligence and robotics, handling communication, sensors, actuators, visualisation and simulation. You use ROS to design parts of an intelligent system and test them both in simulation and on real robot platforms. The course is given in English at distance with three mandatory half-day meetings at Örebro University.
