Control, Regulation and Monitoring Technology (SRÖ) gives you knowledge of how a SCADA system is structured, how it works and how to operate it at user level. You get tools to read and interpret values in flow diagrams and operating charts, for example for air handling units and heating substations. The course is given within TUC Yrkeshögskola's YH programme for property operations technicians and provides knowledge of standardised data buses in building automation. After the course you understand the difference between field level, DUC level and DHC/SCADA level.
The goal of the course is to give in-depth familiarity with standardised signals and functions in building automation, knowledge of standardised symbols used in operating charts and SCADA systems, and knowledge of how balancing of controlled systems affects function and energy use.
