LIA 2 is the second work placement period in TUC's YH programmes, where you take greater independent responsibility for work tasks in your future professional role. Through theory combined with practical exercises at the workplace you deepen your specialist knowledge and develop skills in planning, improving and implementing solutions based on the organisation's needs. After completing the course you have the competence to work independently in the professional role with an employer.
In the course, the know-how from earlier courses in the programme, including LIA 1, shall be applied and deepened through experience and practical action, and the student shall learn new things within the framework of the professional role. The course shall give the student greater familiarity with the professional role and the ability to carry out advanced and in-depth work tasks in it. The student shall use the workplace's methods and tools with some supervision. The course is the second of two LIA courses, and LIA 2 includes acting independently in the professional role.
