After completing the programme the student should have knowledge of/in - Specialised knowledge of theoretical and practical system and web development in the professional roles web developer .NET and system developer .NET. - Knowledge and an overview of related professional and competence areas such as interaction design, project management and DevOps. - Knowledge of work processes and quality criteria in theoretical and practical development in .NET - The frameworks .NET, .NET Core including .NET 5, ASP.NET and ASP.NET MVC - Databases, both document databases, e.g. MongoDB, and SQL, e.g. MS SQL WebAPI, REST, Web Sockets - Design patterns such as Factory, Strategy, Observer, Singleton - Integration with external services, e.g. Microsoft Cognititive Services, Slack, Google - The Code First concept in Entity Frameworks with migrations - An overview of related professional and competence areas such as security, DBA, software tester. After completing the programme the student should have the skills to - Independently take responsibility for developing software in C# with .NET Core 5 - Apply Scrum and work in an agile and iterative way in a group with sprint planning, demo and retrospective - Create a WebAPI with a REST architecture - Create both backend and frontend solutions with .NET - Model SQL databases suitable for commissioned projects - Communicate and integrate with external APIs - Work collaboratively with version control via Git and Github - Write code that is maintainable, easy to debug and scalable - Take responsibility for planning and carrying out work tasks in the professional roles web developer .NET, system developer .NET and .NET developer - Communicate in the professional role in both Swedish and English After completing the programme the student should have the competence to - Independently take responsibility for developing software in C# with .NET Core 5 - In a group, take responsibility for an effective work effort using agile working methods to create applications in .NET Core 5 - Independently take responsibility for solving a client's problem with the help of C# and .NET Core 5 - Take responsibility for ensuring that the code produced is of high quality, which contributes to lifelong learning and development in the professional role.
