DevOps Engineer.

After completing the program, the student shall have knowledge of/in - Specialized knowledge in and about automation, deployment and maintainability in the professional role of DevOps Engineer. - An overview of adjacent professional and competence areas such as software development, server administration and Cloud services. - Work processes and quality criteria in the theoretical and practical delivery process in the role of DevOps Engineer. - Creating well-organized and efficient code in Phyton, with functions and modules. - Linux distributions and Linux operations, and handling Linux administration in virtual environments. - Using scripting languages with good knowledge of system security and monitoring. - Planning, installing, configuring, administering and documenting a Windows Server environment. - DevOps work in development processes with a focus on the following areas and techniques: code, build, test, packaging, release, configuration and monitoring. After completing the program, the student shall have the skills to - Plan, identify and carry out specialized tasks in automation, operations and maintenance in the role of DevOps developer. - Solve complex problems in automation, operations and maintenance in the role of DevOps developer. - Communicate commitments and solutions regarding automation, operations and maintenance in the role of DevOps Engineer in Swedish and English. - Identify, formulate, analyze and solve problems in HTML and CSS. The student can develop responsively designed websites and validate and produce validated HTML and CSS code. - Create well-organized and efficient code in Phyton, with functions and modules. - Take responsibility in collaboration with others and, to a limited extent, lead and evaluate the work of others. - Build robust applications with debugging and reporting. - Linux distributions and Linux operations, handling administration of Linus in virtual environments and using scripting languages with good knowledge of system security and monitoring. - Plan, install, configure, administer and document a Windows Server environment. - Solve complex problems in the role of DevOps Engineer. - Communicate orally in the professional role in both Swedish and English. After completing the program, the student shall have the competence to - Independently handle all technical elements, such as predictability and efficiency, delivery reliability and maintainability, in a way that leads to further learning and professional development in the role of DevOps Engineer. - Independently build robust applications in Phyton, with debugging and reporting. - Monitor Deployment and Operations and complete assigned projects in the role of DevOps Engineer. - Independently evaluate information and methods in the field of work or study, taking relevant social, ethical and scientific aspects into account. - Identify, analyze and optimize development processes in the role of DevOps Engineer. - Take responsibility for their own professional development and continued learning.
