Heating and Ventilation Systems, 40 YH credits, gives you in-depth knowledge of the energy systems in a property: heating, cooling, ventilation and hot water. You gain systems understanding, the ability to interpret operating charts and flow diagrams, and knowledge of dimensioning and balancing installations. You learn the applicable rules and regulations and how different energy systems interact and can be optimised. The course is given by TUC Yrkeshögskola within the programme Kyl- och värmepumpstekniker (Refrigeration and Heat Pump Technician).
The purpose of the course is to give in-depth knowledge of the energy systems found in a property: heating, cooling, ventilation and hot water. The goal of the course is to give the students an in-depth understanding of systems, knowledge of interpreting operating charts/flow diagrams, and knowledge of dimensioning and balancing installations for heating, cooling and ventilation in buildings. In addition, the students gain knowledge of the applicable rules and regulations and of common components in energy systems. The students gain skills in assessing the context and connections between different energy systems, and the opportunities for integration and optimisation between the systems. The students gain skills in measuring flows and processing measurement data. The students gain the competence to carry out appropriate energy calculations based on statistics and measurement data.
