Control and Regulation Technology, 15 YH credits, provides knowledge of how a SCADA system is structured and works, and the ability to operate it at user level. You learn to interpret operating charts and flow diagrams, understand the difference between field, DUC and SCADA level, and identify faults in control and regulation systems in building and property automation. The course also provides knowledge of energy efficiency measures from a control and regulation perspective.
The purpose of the course is for the student to gain knowledge of buildings' different control and regulation systems. The student will learn more about control and regulation in electrical systems, heating/cooling, ventilation and water and sewage (VA). The student will gain in-depth knowledge of the processes in the technical systems used.
