LIA1, 45 YH credits, is the first of two workplace-based LIA courses in TUC's YH programme for maintenance technicians. The knowledge from earlier courses is put into practice and deepened through hands-on work at a company. You take part in the tasks of the professional role, the company's culture and how people work together at the workplace, and under supervision you carry out work according to the company's routines and processes. After the course, you have gained experience of working with maintenance and can analyse the practical work.
The student will get to know the work environment and gain experience of daily routines at a foot care clinic, as well as experience of receiving and treating clients and patients. The student will gain experience of hygiene routines, clinic hygiene and instrument hygiene. Under supervision, the student will gain experience of performing simpler foot care treatments.
