LIA 3 is the final placement period in TUC's YH programme, where the knowledge from earlier courses is put into practice and deepened through experience and practical work. You learn new things within the professional role and develop greater familiarity with the workplace and the tasks, as well as a more independent way of working. You use the workplace's own methods and tools to carry out work according to the routines and processes that apply, and act actively in the professional role until the end of the programme.
The goal of the course is for students to be able to carry out the tasks of a community interpreter (kontakttolk) in different areas of interpreting.
