LIA 2 Analysis of the Procurement Process is the second of two workplace-based LIA courses in TUC's YH programme Public Procurement Officer/Purchaser (Offentlig upphandlare/inköpare). You put into practice and deepen the knowledge, skills and competence from earlier courses at a workplace. You use the workplace's methods and tools to carry out tasks in public procurement and purchasing more independently, with some supervision, according to the routines that apply. Through cooperation, practical grounding and practice, the course prepares you for professional practice as a procurement officer/purchaser.
Aim and goals of the course The aim of the course is to give students the opportunity to apply their theoretical knowledge in a procurement or purchasing organisation. Students will analyse an organisation's purchasing process and how it works in practice, from setting goals and strategy to evaluation and improvement. The course develops the student's understanding of, and ability to carry out, purchases and procurements that are in line with the goals set by the company/organisation.
