Construction Contract Law gives basic knowledge of the obligations and rights of clients in construction contracts and procurement. You gain knowledge of the standard contracts AB, ABT and ABK, the basics of Köplagen (the Sale of Goods Act) and Konsumentköplagen (the Consumer Sales Act), and how tender documents, AF (administrative provisions), technical documents and AMA texts are used. You practise interpreting and applying legal texts, drawing up contracts and tender documents and resolving simple disputes.

The course also covers key regulations such as AB, ABT, ABK, KöpL and KKöpL, as well as tender documents, the AF section, technical documents and AMA texts and their importance for the professional role. The course also covers the basics of business economics, investment appraisals and life cycle costs (LCC) in order to carry out qualified financial analyses and propose resource-efficient investments.
