The Futures Programme is Kairos Future's certification course in environmental scanning, scenario planning and strategy development, built around the in-house TAIDA method. Over 12 course days divided into five stages, theory alternates with practical work on your own real-world questions. After completing the programme and three approved assignments, the participant is certified as a Futures Strategist. The certificate is valid for a limited period and can then be renewed.

Stage 1: Environmental scanning and TAIDA
Introduction to strategic environmental scanning, the TAIDA process and the basics of trend analysis.
Stage 2: Scenario planning
Methods for building and using scenarios in strategy work.
Stage 3: Resources and vision
Mapping key resources, strengths/weaknesses and formulating vision and goals.
Stage 4: Strategy development
Developing strategy and action plans based on the analysis.
Stage 5: Presentation
Presentation and examination of the three assignments for certification.
