Two2Tango is a professional development course in higher education pedagogy for university educators.The course ran from 15th December 2025 to 26th June 2026 and is equivalent to two weeks (80 hours) of full-time university studies. It is an international online course designed by the Unit for Teaching and Learning of the Karolinska Institutet (Sweden) in collaboration with: Instituto Universitario Escuela de Medicina del Hospital Italiano (Argentina), Universidade Federal de Ciências da Saúde (Brazil), Haute école Léonard de Vinci (Belgium), Universié de Mons (Belgium), University of Zagreb (Croatia), Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore (Italy), Politecnico di Torino (Italy), University of Vaasa (Finland), Chalmers University of Technology (Sweden), and KTH Royal Institute of Technology (Sweden). The intended learning outcomes are: Implement a reflective approach to teaching practices in glocal classrooms, incorporating principles of English as a Lingua Franca (ELF) and constructive alignment. Critically reflect on the cultural diversity of glocal classrooms, drawing on research in the field to inform teaching strategies and assessment methods. Engage in peer feedback processes and respond constructively to facilitator input on personal reflections and teaching practices. Identify and apply appropriate methodologies for managing culturally diverse groups and promoting inclusive learning environments in glocal classroom settings. Adopt an evidence-based approach to develop and refine best practices in course design, delivery, and assessment for glocal classrooms. Integrate principles of transformative education to create equitable learning opportunities that celebrate diversity and foster collaboration. Evaluate and adapt teaching practices based on reflective analysis, incorporating feedback to continuously improve the learning experience in glocal educational contexts.
