About the course.

This course equips educators with the basic skills to create an inclusive online learning environment in Canvas. Divided into three modules and an introduction, participants will learn to make course rooms, documents, and videos accessible for all learners. Legal requirements are covered in the concluding module, "Wrapping up". By course completion, participants will be able to create accessible content, identify and rectify accessibility issues, and plan inclusive video presentations. Participants completing this course will be be able to: Create accessible pages and content in Canvas by using headings, lists, and other tools to organize and structure content on pages and in modules in Canvas. Identify and address any accessibility issues on your course pages, such as missing alt text or lack of table headers. Identify and address any accessibility issues in uploaded files in Canvas, for example, in your PowerPoint or Word files. Plan on how to publish videos in an accessible manner in your course
