Tuff Leadership Training - Step 2 (to lead groups) is an intensive training program where participants learn the transformative nature of facilitated group dynamics and the importance of the climate and meaningful communication in realising and releasing the potential of a group or team. This document confirms that the participant has taken part in training and extensive practice that addresses the 'being' of leadership and group facilitation. The participants have developed their self-awareness, and have learned how they can be more mindful about their part in a group dynamic. A key part has been discovering how they can catalyse the potential of a group or team. Participants have also learned how to address obstacles in climate and behaviour in a way that doesn't seek to attribute blame but instead creates a shared accountability for moving through difficulties. Fundamental to the program is that employees, individually or in groups, are capable of handling, and being responsible for, much bigger challenges than they normally are entrusted with. The training includes: How to facilitate a group in a process - holding a group accountable for what is to be accomplished Catalysing motivation and a sense of responsibility in a group Dealing with and shifting working climates from ineffective to productive Coaching a group so that things move forward Handling conflicts in such a way that the group moves through it Talking about charged or toxic issues within a group Extensive, practical training in vital abilities related to group leadership Using tools to establish a clear purpose and measurable goals, efficient decision making and effective discussion facilitation
